Shueisha’s Jump SQ Revealed Illustration Of Death Note Sequel


Much awaited Death Note sequel is publishing in the March issue of Jump Square (Shueisha). It will be an 87-page one-shot having a completely new story where Ryuk’s Death Note will fall once again after the events of the original manga.

The illustration shows Minrou Tanaka, who won the first place in the intelligence test for three years in a row and is regarded as the best junior high school student in Japan, and Ryuk, Grim Reaper.


The first 10 pages were released for the first time at the “30th Anniversary of Painting: Ken Obata NEVER COMPLETE” held at 3331 Tokyo Arts Chiyoda in Tokyo. It will be interesting how Minrou’s life will be changed when he found the Ryuk’s notebook.
